Make your home warm and inviting with a tailored underfloor heating system from Niche Energy Solutions.
Whether you're building a new home or extending your existing one, we can design, supply and install your new underfloor heating system.
Underfloor heating (UFH) is an increasingly popular and highly efficient way to heat a home.
Unlike traditional radiators, which heat the air, underfloor heating warms the entire room from the floor up, creating a more comfortable and consistent level of warmth. It’s also visually appealing, removing the need for bulky heaters or visible radiators that take up valuable space.
Niche Energy Solutions specialise in the installation of underfloor heating, offering a team of experts dedicated to ensuring your home feels warm and cosy throughout the colder months. Using architects’ plans or direct measurements from your property, we work closely with you to design and install an individual system that complements your home. Taking into account your chosen heat source (whether a boiler or heat pump) your tailored systems are carefully designed to create the perfect environment.
With our Proline, Deckline or Slimline underfloor heating systems, combined with extensive knowledge and experience, you can be confident that your dream home is in safe hands, with a cosy, efficient UFH system installed to the highest standards of professionalism and efficiency.
Can save you up to 40% on fuel costs
All round even heat from floor to ceiling
Don't waste wall space on radiators or compromise on room layout
No waterflow noise or creaking from pipes
Can be installed under wooden, tiled or carpeted floors
Circulates less dust and no hot surfaces to touch
Underfloor heating works by distributing a lower temperature of warm water through a circuit of pipes beneath the finished floor. Heat is monitored and controlled by intelligent thermostats to maintain a consistent temperature throughout the property or individual zones.

Our Deckline overlay system is primarily for use over timber suspended floor, where 20mm pre routed high density insulation board allow for 16mm UFH pipe to be fit inside the grooves. This is a fast response system that can be used with many flooring types. Can be designed to include acoustic detail and dry screed boards to provide a acoustic solution for our Upper Floors

Our Deckline Plate system offers no floor build up with aluminium spreader plate fitted between the joists. Not suited for low temperature inputs.

Our Slimline in screed systems offer an insulated, thin profile UFH system from as little as 25mm using extra strength screeds and bespoke design. Ideal for renovations where height is a premium. Can be installed on concrete or suspended floors

Our Proline In Screed system is the more popular in new builds and extensions which have a blank canvas to allow for floor insulation, 16mm UFH pipework and a 50mm flowing screed

Many different floor coverings can be installed over underfloor heating, such as tiles, wood, stone and carpet (please note carpet should be no thicker than 1.5 tog).
Underfloor heating works at lower temperatures than traditional heating, so could potentially reduce your heating bills, depending on how much you currently pay and your current system.
Potentially. Underfloor heating is often viewed as a luxury product, so this can often increase the value of your home.
Yes. Unlike with radiators, floors stay warm even in a draughty room (or if the windows are open) so there is less wasted heat.
This depends on how many rooms you want to install in, whether you are installing in a new build, extension or older building and what kind of floor you have. Factors such as which floor level you want to install on and how close the rooms are to the boiler/heat pump also contribute to cost.
It's best to have warm water underfloor heating installed professionally as the pipes will need to be laid correctly and then connected to your boiler/heat pump. Insulation and screed will also need to be installed.
