Acoustic detailing is used to reduce the transfer of impact noise (such as footfall or furniture movement) from the floor structure to the room below. In addition, the transmission of airborne sound from TVs and voices can also be reduced. 

 The solution is to have installed a soundproof layer between the screed and the main building structure to reduce vibrations being transmitted. This can be installed in conjunction with underfloor heating.
