Screeds primary purpose is to give a smooth and level floor on which to lay your chosen floor finish. The thickness of the screed allows it to take up normal variations in flatness and levelness of the base and which it is laid.
Our liquid flowing screeds offer many benefits when used in conjunction with our underfloor heating systems. They are self compacting and easy to place thanks to their free flowing anhydrite binders. In general, we use this particular screed to produce a smooth, flat and level floor. This floor will form the sub-base for subsequent floor coverings for internal floors in a large variety of building types.
Gypsol screed includes additional chemicals which can help to speed up the drying process, meaning other trades can continue to work on your property or project faster than with traditional screeds (terms and conditions apply).
We understand that every project might require different screed, which is why we offer a variety of Gypsol products to suit your chosen finish.
Rapide; A self-compacting, self-smoothing, fast-drying floor screed
TS-15; An ultra-thin screed for bonded and un-bonded applications at a minimum depth of 15mm.
TS-20; A thin screed suitable for bonded and un-bonded applications down to a 20mm minimum depth.
XS; Extra strength material for use in heavy-duty applications, where loading is likely to be higher than normal
Cemfloor is extremely responsive to underfloor heating due to the fact that they can be laid in very thin sections. Underfloor heating has grown in popularity in recent years and it is becoming increasingly common to be installed in conjunction with a screed floor.
Cemfloor Screed is designed for use as over thermal or acoustic insulation, or as an un bonded screed on top of a plastic membrane. It’s compatible with all types of floor coverings, cementitious adhesives, damp proof membranes and floor levellers.
Cemfloor screeds are very responsive to underfloor heating; due to the fact that they can be laid in very thin sections and have a high thermal conductivity.
Compared with some other liquid screeds which generally need to be force dried with underfloor heating; Cemfloor screeds can be used in non heated floors as it doesn’t require force drying to remove moisture. Using the correct tile adhesives; tiles can be placed in as little as 5 days in non- heated floors and after 16 days in heated floors once the heating has been commissioned.
